Air-Fryer Crispy Pork Belly

INGREDIENTS >

  • 1.5 - 2 lbs pork belly, sliced about 2 inches thick

  • salt

  • peppercorn

  • bay leaves

  • avocado oil spray (optional)

DIRECTIONS >

  1. In medium size pot, add water, salt, peppercorns, garlic and bay leaves

  2. Boil for 30 min, remove pork and drain

  3. Let it cool and dry, place in refrigerator for at least an hour - overnight is okay too.

  4. Remove from fridge, poke skin side multiple times, dab all sides dry

  5. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, spray with avocado oil if desired

  6. In air fryer, set to 350 degrees and timer for 7 min. Add additional 7 minutes.
